The song was written as a march not as a funeral drudge.

I went to Wikipedia to look up the Star Spangled Banner lyrics. She sang "oh so proudly we watched" where it should've been "o'er the ramparts we watched." People on twitter are starting to get mad at Aguilera. This year's Janet Jackson moment.

Quote from the updated Wikipedia entry: "Her mistake matched the lyrics from The Star-Spangled Banner's article on Wikipedia, which had been vandalized."
Well, maybe kids don't have to learn it in gradeschool anymore, like when I was a kid.
