Another thought comes to my mind. She says "would never shoot an animal for its fur or for fashion". Ok EVEN IF that were correct, which I don't believe for a second, what about for the biggest reason why she did shoot that caribou - self promotion.

She knows damn well she shot that beautiful animal in a self promoting attempt to boost her bid among her base for a 2012 bid.

10. Anyone who has ever hunted watched that segment and facepalmed.
From her Daddy handing her a varmint rifle at first and her not objecting, to him working the bolt for her, it was plainly obvious that not only is this woman no hunter, life-long or otherwise, she isn't really all that familiar with firearms to begin with.
