On the topic of antisemitism and racism
Edited on Thu Jan-27-11 12:04 PM by RandomThoughts
"That is based on how you see it." Is much of that.

Blade Runner - Tears In The Rain
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_saUN4j7Gw

"Quite an experience to live in fear." How many can only see the comment 'you people' in a racist way, or the blue eyes in an antisemitism way.

You miss what is good in that clip if that is all a person sees. I often wonder if that is to keep such information from antisemitism people and racists, since those blockers don't let them see the meaning in those ideas. But they also block people from seeing those things that fear those concepts.

I thought alot about that, there are many racism blockers unintended, and some intended in many things. What people could realize is Hitler does not get to define an entire concept like blue eyes and thinking he can or should be able to do that is terribly wrong in society.

I like the blue eyes from Dune, or the concept of crying angels as blue eyes. Are better ways to see such things then with the ugliness blinding of racism or antisemitism.

Or to the metaphor, the tears were not lost in the rain, thank you.

(That is also the meaning of being able to pull the sword from the stone.)

By it being about the Arthurian Legend and pulling the sword from the stone, does not mean it has anything to do with royalty, I don't think about things like blood lines or genetic lines. And think democracy is a better concept, as shown by the concept of the round table.

It only means the person that wrote that story may have known some of this stuff. Him writing that is part of the concept of cultural thought, does not say that the story of some King somewhere have anything to do with anything or not, although whoever wrote that story probably could see some of that stuff in other writings and stories.

Same thing with heal the king heal the land. The concept that healing what is noble in people, better ideals, leads to a society that is better. If the noble virtues most people think on are grown, then the land and society heals since those people that think on those ideas create better circumstances.
