Many people spend emotional feeling that was added to concepts by many other people, for other reasons.

That is how Orwellian speak does things where an opposite word is used for a program, like the patriot act.

It spends the thoughts and feelings stored in an image, memory, or even a label to be used against the concepts the people that built the feelings and concepts around those things felt.

It is much of marketing, some groups build a 'name brand' with good work and quality. Then that name brand loyalty helps them. However there is a group that finds labels that have positive feeling with people and put it on something that has no value, and spend the value in that label.


That is also the teachings of Machivelianism in concepts of religion and deception.


However there are people in the T party, that have many good thoughts and ideas on many things, but the use of marketing both against them, and by them is irritating.

So call them what you want, that shouldn't matter if people learned how marketing is used against them.

However keep in mind that you are pushing them further away and stirring them up at the same time. More critical though, you are also pushing away others who may not specifically agree with the values put forth by the tea party movement, however become sympathetic as a result of what they see as childish personal attacks. It also plays into framing of progressives as arrogant and elitist, neither of which are messages that help the progressive cause. So while it may be personally fulfilling, I am not sure it is a wise course of action if the goal is to win support for progressive values.

Unless of course you think progressive values can be forwarded without bringing on board the so called swing voters. If so, then I would be interested in reading your logic behind how that would work.

lamestream media, obamacare, etc. Evidently you think we should just turn the other cheek because in your mind we should be afraid of being called progressive arrogant and elitist or of pushing them away? They've always called us names and playing nice has never worked and will never work with them. They hate us.
