Is there already "buyers remorse" with the teahadists?
Edited on Tue Jan-25-11 08:55 PM by Bluzmann57
I am fortunate enough to live in The First District of Iowa where we are represented by a good man, Congressman Bruce Braley. But right across the Mississippi River is Illinois' 17th district where they elected a teabagger type, Rep. Bobby Schilling. And a few folks I have talked to already are regretting their decision to vote for him. Like all teahadists, he ran on repealing health care for all and creating jobs. He owns a pizza joint, so maybe he meant he was going to hire some people for that place. Or maybe he's just another power hungry guy who thinks that only the wealthy deserve anything. Is it like that all over the USA or just around here?
One more thing, Schilling claimed to be a friend of labor. Or not. His restaurant employees make next to nothing. Yes, I realize that restaurant jobs are low paying jobs as a rule, but if this guy is really a friend of labor, why won't he let his employees Unionize and make decent money and benefits?

1. They're still pretty pissed off at Scott Brown.
And Rubio has recently refused to join the Tea Party caucus.
