The Amazon guy does big business with the CIA and, as owner of the Washington Post, reports on government activities.

What could be cosier?

This is the guy who also wants to deliver your Amazon purchase by drone.

Right now, that is illegal, but, heck, that's what lobbying is for.

1. I have one thing to say about this.
I think this can all be explained by the following: "Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power." -- Benito Mussolini

2. If it was a merger of corporations AND government, why did he think
it should be called corporatism?

Which part of that word refers to government? Closer to the mark, it's corporations as government. Well, corporations can be small or big, so, even closer to the mark, it's government by big business.

And that will be truer here than ever if Obama succeeds with the TPP. If he does, I would not be surprised if there is armed revolution within 30 years tops. Then again, I've been surprised that armed revolution did not follow the global economic collapse of 2008, brought to us in great part by President Bubba.

So, I guess I'm no weathervane when it comes to armed revolutions. The sheepleness of most people in the Western world never ceases to amaze me.
