Washington survived the recession, and that's a bad sign: Economist (14:53)

Growing economic inequality in the U.S. is a very troubling long-term trend and a sign of powerful elites exerting self-serving control over the economy, says Christopher Thornberg, founding partner of Beacon Economics. Thornberg tells Reuters West Coast Bureau Chief Jonathan Weber that nowhere is this trend more evident than in Washington, DC.

Breaking news: video tells us a privileged few are Hoovering up everything, at our expense.

Okay, it's old news.

Despite my sarcasm, it's a interesting video about foreclosures, housing, etc. (A bit under 15 minutes long.)

1. I know they are Hoovering things up.
Is it because those privileged few want "more" for themselves? Or is it because they want to deny us anything and everything? Whatever it is, this shit started in Florida in 1999. Shit? A secret operation against the American people, that shit.

2. I think it started after the Russian first peasant revolt of 1905. Or in the 1770s
Or while they were planning the first transatlantic voyage of the Mayflower.

By why quibble? It's certainly where we are now.
