seriously...

sadly, there's a lot of these FUC-KING idiots out there. Just wait til you read what she told people, if you haven't heard yet - it's so aggravating knowing his past now, and her current fears about him just days before the mass murdering he did, and she didn't apparently seek to get him put in for review, and lock up her doomsday cache!

Sandy Hook Shooter's Mother Collected Guns In Preparation For Economic Collapse
Jon Swaine, The Telegraph | Dec. 16, 2012, 6:10 PM | 16,952 | 93

The mother of the gunman who killed 20 children and seven adults in America’s worst school massacre, was a gun-proud “survivalist” preparing for economic collapse, it has emerged.

Nancy Lanza, whose gun collection was raided by her son Adam for Friday’s massacre at Sandy Hook school, was part of the “prepper” movement, which urges readiness for social chaos by hoarding supplies and training with weapons.

“She prepared for the worst,” her sister-in-law Marsha Lanza told reporters. “Last time we visited her in person, we talked about prepping – are you ready for what could happen down the line, when the economy collapses?”

It also emerged that Mrs Lanza had spoken of her fears less than a week before the attack that she was “losing” her son. “She said it was getting worse. She was having trouble reaching him,” said a friend of Mrs Lanza who did not want to be named.

Fox News viewer, anyone? Probably listened to AM (Hate) Radio, too! Sounds like it's possible that she might have aided her son's illness, with her fear of doomsday shit!

1. Ya gotta have at least six guns in case Obama takes away four
then you'll still have two left.

3. ouch! so bluntly true, when you think about it
her disturbed son, who was burning himself last week, that she was telling people (that's how bad it was getting) that he was getting really bad, beat her to it.

this is a huge message to families with sick people, to get them help. And, for goodness sake, take the guns away!

8. I have posted before that I got close to a religious cult at one point in my life.
It was a residential religious community, meaning they all lived in one spot, though in a number of homes

One of their beliefs was that the saved would be raptured half way through the 7 year tribulation period described in Revelation. So, they kept 3.5 years of canned goods, etc. to see them through until mid-trib (One member even told me that she had 3.5 years worth of perms and hair dyes).

In discussion that with one of their clergy a number of years ago, I said that they should stop telling people that they had all this stuff so that it would not become common knowledge. Because, if indeed there ever was a famine for whatever reason, people would surely kill them for their food and water.

His reply was, "We would share it with them voluntarily. What good would it do us to save our bodies and lose our souls?"

I did not pursue the fact that, if circumstances were dire enough, sharing might not satisfy intruders.

Anyway, I had that conversation in mind when I read about her hoarding weapons in case of economic collapse. She ain't planning to shoot squirrels for food with assault weapons.

6. sad that they'll put any train wreck on cable TV for ratings. And, I found it sadly comical today
that my local TV news talked about the "end of the world" Mayan thing today, and talked about Preppers, then went into a story on Ms Lanza, and I thought they were going to say she was a doomsday scenario believer, and they didn't - damn. I think it's a valid argument that these nuts are messing up their whole families with this shit and, as No Elephants said, the son got her first, but she was hoarding ammo it seems to use on people when "the end" came!

7. I looked up the wiki of the Discovery Channel and followed links to the wiki of Allen & Company/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allen_%26_Company

There, I found reference to people like Murdoch and George Tenet of "slam dunk" fame.

I could not duplicate the experience with the History Channel, but I did see in its wiki that some of its "statements fact" that are supposedly historical in nature have received the "pants on fire" rating from fact checkers, notably a claim that Congress worked on Christmas for many years.

But, in general, who acquires lots of TV statements, movie interests, etc? Yes, that's correct, wingers do.

P.S. glad to see you!

9. Wait! Someone must have scrubbed the wiki of the History Channel.
Murdoch either is or was part owner.

ollowing this success Murdoch launched The Fox News Channel in 1996, a 24-hour cable station designed to compete with CNN. In 2003 News Corp. bought a 34% share in Hughes Electronics, which owns DirecTV™, a leading satellite company. But Murdoch’s interest in television and satellite are not specific to the United States.

BskyB, the leading British satellite company, The National Geographic Channel, The History Channel, and Nickelodeon are all partially owned by Rupert Murdoch. Other television stations under News Corp.’s flag extend into Italy, New Zealand, Asia and other countries.
