Just wondering: Why is everyone saying "Bowles-Simpson" now, instead of Simpson Bowles?

Just wondering: Why is everyone saying "Bowles-Simpson" now, instead of Simpson Bowles?
Simpson was the chair of that commission.

I noticed it first with Romney. This morning, I heard Chuck Toad, Schumer and Van Hollen all saying "Bowles-Simpson?"

Anyone know what that oddity is all about?

3. So they can claim the commission's
recommendations are a Democratic Party idea after they are adopted? Bowles being the "Democrat", lol.
