Tucker's 'reporter' from Daily Caller, who interrupted the president, is an immigrant

And the answer to your question, sir and the next time Id prefer you let me finish my statements before you ask that question is this is the right thing to do for the American people, Obama said, before Munro shouted out again. The president added: I didnt ask for an argument. Im answering your question.

As Obama finished and walked off, Munro shouted: What about American workers who are unemployed while you import foreigners?

Carlson described Munro as an experienced White House reporter in his mid-40s who has worked at the Web site for two years. He said Munro is an immigrant from Ireland who is married to an American and has children.

------------------------

So he comes here by marrying an American, and takes away a job from a born and raised American, and the right wing extremists (meaning standard republican) have no problem with that? Typical.

Yeah, he's at least a legal immigrant some will argue. The fact is, he's an Irish immigrant who really has no right, himself, to take the approach that Pres. Obama is taking jobs away from Americans by importing foreigners, by allowing the children of illegal immigrants to stay in this country because they were born here. It really comes off as disingenuous and false! It's a shame Mr Obama didn't know this about him, because what a delicious comeback it would have made to hear him say, "This, from an immigrant?"

2. But he's Irish
I mean, it's not like he's from Mexico or something

This guy is what infuriates me about the tea-hadists

He's Irish. 100 years ago the Teahadist crowd would be blaming him for the state of the economy

4. He's a douche, but he's here legally
Which is more than you can say for the millions of illegal immigrants granted amnesty by the conservaturds' hero Ronald Ray-gun. ;)

I called my Mom the day that this happened and mentioned it to her and I asked her if she was aware of anytime in her 70 something years that a President had been interrupted twice while delivering remarks in the Rose Garden. She thought about it, stated not that she could ever remember and then proceeded to mention that his momma apparently didn't stress manners with the little shit or they didn't stick.

Yes, she referred to him as a little shit.
:)

edit: bad typing fingers

6. Not for nuthin, but everyone in this part of the globe is either an immigrant or a tourist.

If you accept the findings of the Human Genome Project, even so called "Native Americans" came here via Russia. They just happened to get here about 50,000 years before Columbus, the Spaniards and the Brits. (Or as one native American friend puts it, "the infestation.")

My mom got to become a citizen because she married my Dad.

In my book, no one is better than my mom, or more entitled to a job than she was, simply because they happened to be born here (as I was, thanks to her) as opposed to making the sacrifices she made in order to become an American citizen.

Regardless of anyone's position on undocumented immigrants, I don't think any good will come from dividing American citizens into those who are citizens because they were owho were born here and those who became citizens through naturalization.

There are plenty of good reasons to diss this arrogant jerk, but being a naturalized citizen is not one of them, IMO (unless his marriage was a fraud).
