It was the fastest movie ever to reach $100 million, $150 million, and $200 million, and it set new records for Saturday ($69.7 million) and Sunday ($50.1 million) grosses. It also had the highest per-theater average ever for a nationwide release with $46,057.

2. Got there, parking lot absolutely full up no spaces, and then TV parking opened up in front of me

Got in, the 'sold out' signs for ALL shows flashing light through NINE THIRTY last show. LOTS of people disappointed who showed up without tickets, who then got on line and clogged the line while those of us who where trying to get our prepaid tickets were stuck until almost show time. I went in and the theater was packed. about 2/3 of the way up there were four big loud 'ugly' guys sitting together but they left the aisle seat open. I walked up, and nearly yelled "IS THIS SEAT Taken" AND GLOWERED AT THE GUY NEA IT. He JUST GOES 'UH NO NO, WE WAS SAVING IT FOR A QUICK GETAWAY". so i SAT AND HAD A GREAT TIME. Ad these four big gruff angry loud guys were movie buffs to boot. Big fun.


Personally, I liked Transformers 3 better, but it was huge fun anyway. No dissappointments.

It seems to be doing well enough I can sneak in later in the week after (mad rush is over) and probably the RUSH is over.

Did you get echoes of EMMA PEEL? Or, did they do in a different direction with this one?
