Sanity returned to Massachusetts. Elizabeth Warren pulled ahead of Brown again.
Not long ago, she was 8 points behind, after having a large lead early on.

Elizabeth Warren Leads Scott Brown In New Poll

Posted: 03/20/2012 3:34 pm

A new poll released Tuesday shows Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren with a narrow edge in the Massachusetts race, contradicting several other polls released in recent weeks that showed Republican Sen. Scott Brown in the lead.

The new poll, conducted March 16-18 by the Democratic-leaning firm Public Policy Polling with automated polling methods, found Warren leading Brown by a 46 percent to 41 percent margin. The result is within the poll's 3.2 percentage point margin of error, which applies to the results for each candidate individually.

Other recent polls have found mixed results in the race. Three of four other polls conducted since the beginning of February found Brown leading Warren, while the fourth found Warren leading within the poll's margin of error. Most recently, a Western New England University survey found Brown leading by an 8 percentage point margin, while Rasmussen Reports found Brown had a 5 percentage point lead.

Please, please Prof. Warren, do not pull a Coakley.

Meanwhile, a St. Patrick's day tradition in heavily Irish Massachusetts is a politicians' breakfast where they all nudge each other good-naturedly.

Warren's zinger was a little more serious than I am used to hearing, but FUNNY. She said that Scott Brown started out as the centerfold for Ms. Magazine and now he's the poster child for Goldman Sachs.

His remark was a lot milder, same lame thing about her finding her way to the breakfast from Cambridge, the implication being she never leaves Cambridge, which is probably his way of saying she doesn't know squat about Massachusetts outside of Harvard yard. Wasn't funny or on point.

Two things he had before and does not have now was Romney's campaign people and a clear field for campaigning and fund-raising.

When he ran against Coakley, people from as far away as the state of Washington were brought in to his rallies to give him both fakely cheering (and booing) crowds and news stories about how much he had excited people, both within Massachusetts and from other states

As if anyone from the State of Washington who wasn't being paid to come here and attend his rallies actually did that. However, media never mentions stuff like that.

Apparently, media wants us to believe grass roots politics are authentic.
