Well fellow DU'ers finally took the plunge into facebook

part of the reason, many of my occupy pages will not be seen if I am not a member... so took the plunge. Oh well...

Will also use as a marketing thing when I finally put that essay up for sale

It's great you are doing that. I took the twitter plunge and I am still stumbling around trying to figure it all out. It's kind of fun branching out though.

2. Good Luck to you on that Nadine...but "Facebook"....Ugh...there are pluses...but many

"privacy" minuses. If you haven't been on it before...it's an experience. And, watch your back there for "scam artists."

3. Oh I know of it's issues with security

it is actually worst than it's closest competitor. Spent an hour setting the security settings... and adds... ugh.

On the brights side my less than personal security family is on facebook, so now I know what my nieces are up to.
