There are times the mods don't know why someone alerted on a post, can't see a rule break, especially if there's no explanation. If that's the case, we just leave it alone...

8. The mods are hanging in until the lights go out here.

Some of us have been active on DU.3 and some haven't, and some of us like it better than others, just like the rest of the membership. But most of us have been around since DU.1, and we know that there will be improvements and changes. I'm hoping that DU.3 will evolve, just like this place, to make it more user friendly. And even if it's not what we were wishing for, it's still got to be the best discussion forum on the internets... I've yet to see anything better.

I got pulled into jury duty for somebody telling another poster that if John Edwards got cancer, it served him right.

Every juror but me voted to hide the post and ding the poster.

Come on! It wasn't nice to say but it wasn't over the top, imho. Seems kind of a preschooler church lady vibe to me.
