In a pitiful but expected act of desperation to appeal to the extreme right wing of the GOP, Mitt Romney is proudly touting a recent quote from Ann Coulter saying he's the strongest candidate in the 2012 Republican field.
We're not sure Coulter is someone whose admiration you should advertise. After all, Coulter is the speaker of such zingers as:
"It would be a much better country if women did not vote."
"I think a baseball bat is the most effective way to talk to liberals."
"I think the government should be spying on all Arabs."

"That’s right, the same Ann Coulter who told a cheering CPAC crowd that “if we don’t run Chris Christie, Romney will be the nominee and we’ll lose”
now praises Romney in his new ad, on exactly the same basis she trashed him on, his chances at beating President Obama. “I think Romney is the strongest candidate,” Coulter said. “And I think Republicans want to beat Obama. And Romney is the best one to do that . . .”
