So, at this point, what kind of pre-OWS politics or tactics do YOU think still works?

Open question.

Just want to know what tactics people here still trust, still think are worth pursuing, among traditional political forms.

2. Firstly, we should be grateful for OWS, and the advances that have been made due to their efforts...
... but we cannot expect them alone to change the world.

We need OWS.

We need Anonymous.

We need WikiLeaks.

We need Iraq Veterans Against the War.

We need strong Unions.

We need 100,000+ protesters in the Streets of Madison.

We need progressives across the country to stand up for their ideals.

But perhaps more than anything, we need grass-roots involvement in our political process. In my humble opinion, vetting candidates for "liberal Democratic values" at the grass roots level is the most critical thing we can do.

If we do all the other things, and get a whole Congress full of Democrats, it won't matter a whit if those legislators don't hold dear to the same values as we do.

We have 20,000 volunteers working on Recall Walker here in Wisconsin. I'm trying to help ensure that they become the engine that drives our Party in the State for generations.
