Moon is high, bright, Jupiter to the west

Maybe I'll wake early and watch it eclipsing. It is beautiful up there tonight.

I have a Nikon D50, with a Nikkor lens...50mm/1.4

It's a new lens, and I'm having a ball playing with it, esp. on aperture priority.

I want to get some good pics of the eclipse, if I can!

I'll get up and watch if I remember -- and I'm not big on doing things on Saturday mornings which do not involve skiing, the beach, or funerals.
