Woman Arrested for Cooking Meth Inside a WalMart

Woman Arrested for Cooking Meth Inside a WalMart

This story offers up a perfect slice of modern America...

Tulsa police arrest a woman for mixing chemicals to make meth inside a south Tulsa Walmart on Thursday.

Elizabeth Alisha Greta Halfmoon, 45, also known to go by Alisha Halfmoon, was arrested for endeavoring to manufacture meth at the 81st and Lewis store.

Police say surveillance video shows Halfmoon had been in the store since noon. Six hours later security noticed she was acting suspicious, so they called Tulsa police.

Responding officers say she claimed she was "too broke to buy the chemicals." ..........(more)

How can it be done in a Walmart?

8. Where else are you gonna get cold meds, brake fluid, camping stove fuel, and hydrochloric acid all

in the same place?

I'm also guessing she was probably able to get away with it because Walmart is so chaotic this time of year. With everyone so geeked up on "Black Friday" consumerism and all the stress that goes with that, its easy to see how something like a tweaker cooking meth could slide under the radar for store security.

10. OK so you collect all of that
Where do you hide to turn on the stove and start cooking? Trying to think which is the best aisle for that one!

16. Back in the crafts section where they sell the fabric and stuff. All the little old ladies who

normally shop that section are home in bed by 7:30. Its a big section of vacant real estate between the hours of 8pm and 8am.

Or the automotive section. The desk for the tires and oil changes is deserted after that part closes and most of the supplies one would need are probably in automotive anyway.

13. Well, if i were to cook meth. Walmart would be the ideal place for it. It's actually poetic if you
ask me.

18. Most of your customers for selling it would be there too. I'm amazed no one has tried it before. In

my hometown, several entrepreneurs have been busted running "mobile methlabs". Its like a food truck... from hell.
