so she, and staffers who walked in or her and Newt (and who ratted 'em out to Marianne) would not be called to the stand to describe bobbing heads and things of that nature.

I'm waiting for that staff to sing (please, please, please)...they're probably feeling a lot of differing emotions as Newt retakes the stage. So many of those pompous little bastards came to DC with their little Messiah, so intense, so insistent, so determined to shake up the system with force an violence and brutality--"Do what we say, or we'll SHUT DOWN THE GOVERNMENT!" They swallowed the koolaid and asked for seconds. Then, when Newt crashed-n-burned, a lot of them, who were such advocate-assholes, had a hard time finding other work (even though they had a good handle on the way the legislature functioned) because they were such bridge-burning, "My way or the highway" shitbirds--and, of course, they had that unfortunate association with Mister Blowhard.
