Homeless Boy Steals The Talent Show

//One cannot help but be moved to tears by this amazing young man; Sung-bong Choi.

When Sung-bong decided to sing on the Talent Show "Korea's Got Talent" he had no idea that he would win the hearts of millions all over the world!

His story of his childhood is so moving that even the judges had a hard time keeping their composure.

He told the judges that even though he didn't think he could sing very well, he sang because it made him happy.

They couldn't have been more surprised.//

Very touching

3. Gingrich will use him as a poster boy for poor children in the US.
For that child to raise himself since age 5? Wow! Just WOW!

6. I don't completely trust these shows......
... to not concoct just such a perfect rags-to-riches story for the ratings.

There's an awful lot of incentive to do so.

Just sayin'.

20. Paul Potts story was real.
It was also edited for television. While he was a manager at a mobile phone store, he wasn't - like Simon stated at the end of the clip - "unaware" of his talent. He had the lead roles in opera productions prior to appearing on the show. It was better television to have a store manager that could sing opera than an aspiring opera singer that worked as a store manager.

11. Very scripted and the judges performance was very transparent
and predictable. The young man was great and I don't want to take from that, but I think he's in on it.

16. imo, this was orchestrated.
why did the judge say 'i can't tell by your clothing what you do for a living'. have you heard any question like that on any reality show? the story may be true but he was set up to tell it. anyway, i can't see a 5 yo surviving for 10 years, without help, in a country which sees cold winters. not happenin'.

But I don't know how that stuff works in Korea.
