Jon Huntsman: Expanded drone program 'would serve our national interests'
Edited on Wed Nov-23-11 03:29 PM by The Northerner
Presidential candidate Jon Huntsman advocated the use of an expanded military drone campaign in Pakistan to target national security threats.

"Pakistan is a concern. That's the country that ought to keep everybody up at night," said Huntsman on Tuesday at the CNN Republican national security debate at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington.

"It's a haven for bad behavior, it's a haven for training the people who seek to do us harm. And an expanded drone program is something that would serve our national interests. I think it must be done," Huntsman said.

find ourselves faced with some pretty sever problems, since they have nukes. I guess I should have read your previous first, obviously Pakistan is not going along with it.

9. Were there any other anti-war songs for the first part of the
21 year and counting Iraq war under Bush Sr. Desert Storm?

4. It's a good thing we're so exceptionally exceptional
Because a major party candidate for the presidential nomination advocating for war crimes (or crimes against humanity, if you prefer) would surely be a national embarrassment. On the other hand, committing war crimes is no longer such a big fucking deal in the United States, now that both major parties have indulged in them, so we dinosaurs who insist on observing the Constitution and our national treaty obligations can just belt up.

7. And that will eventually happen.
All they need to do is cut off our oil in mid December. We would not last a week.

8. Way to saber-rattle against our nominal ally, Jon
If this is a preview of what we'd get from him in foreign policy, then no thanks. And up to this point, he's clearly been the class of the repuke field. ("Larry Kroger. Two C's, two D's and an F. Grade point average 1.2. Congratulations, Kroger. That puts you at the top of the Delta pledge class.")
