Gridlock is a clever conservative tactic ...
Gridlock is a clever conservative tactic used to blame progressives while accomplishing the conservative goal of inaction

1. The media is on cue clucking about gridlock being the fault of both parties
and not aiming the arrow at greedy repukes

It's not only greed of course it's a meme to use against Obama in the presidential race.

2. Anyone who bothers to do any research on what has been happening
the last couple of years knows better. Who is holding up the appointments to administration jobs, courts, putting bills forward, etc.

7. The media does very well in examing a small slice of history
and hiding the rest. They get away with this.

4. I'm glad to see Dean gets it. Unfortunately, too many on the left blame our own side.
Republicans say no to everything, so somehow people manage to convert that into blaming the Democrats. Because apparently gridlock against extremists wouldn't be a problem if our people were more extreme. :eyes:

5. True but...
If democrats start using all the things that republicans have done, said, and voted on that show they actually are doing nothing for those in this country who need the help, but instead are doing all they can for the 1% who control the money, they can turn the tables on them. It will take time, but if democrats would get out on the Sunday news shows every week, flood the air with ads using sound bites from republicans, and point to their voting record since Obama took office, it would start to sink in. There is so much stuff on tape, on video, etc. that could be used, and it wouldn't take much to simply use their own words against them.

Polls show that the majority of americans are tired of the BS, and they want the rich, the corporations, and oil companies to start sharing the burden of this mess that they got us into. Take away the Bush tax cuts, the tax loopholes, the subsidies, and make them pay their share of fixing this mess. It took Bush 8 years to take us down, and it seems the only ones who came out of the mess on top are the rich, Wall street, and corporations. Americans are tired of the 1% coming out ahead while the rest of the country suffers. Democrats need to hammer this message home day after day until the elections next year.
