1. OWS and police response have validated how low the USA has sunk, that peaceful protests are
treated as hostile. Peaceful protesters beaten into submission. OWS is not going away, people will remember, and OWS will grow. Just because everyone is not out protesting, does not mean they do not agree with OWS.

4. It's always been that way.
If you look back at all the major movements. Power does not surrender without a nasty prolonged overwhelming resistance.

5. Look what happened during the Civil Rights movement.
No fire hoses, dogs, bombs or body count yet. Or the end to Vietnam. We have no '68 Dem convention or Kent State. The price has not been paid yet and it will have to be.

However, the images are powerful. College kids peacefully sitting on a sidewalk getting pepper sprayed in the face resonates with many.

We will need many more people to put their bodies on the line. However, I do advocate the tactics of Ghandi and King. Passive resistance is what reaches the hearts of middle America.

2. When people have nothing left to lose, revolution ensues.
And the 1% is leaving many Americans with nothing.

3. I think that by the end of this political cycle we may have lost our freedom
They will call it "freedom" but it will be empty and meaningless.

Or maybe we will win - hard to call.

6. You are wrong
We won't "win" in the next cycle. But Americans will not lay down.

7. Just saying that from where I sit that isn't clear at all...
I think most American's have already laid down.

I don't care to argue the point - that's my perspective. Take it for what it is worth.
