In Denver, the police are ticketing drivers who honk in approval of Occupy. The fine imposed is $60, and is based on an old rule against frivolously sounding an emergency device. More than a little ironic, given that the mayor and governor, who ordered the raids on Occupy, both campaigned using "honk and wave."

Now we are left to wonder if Denver PD will pursue with equal fervor the "Honk if you love Jesus" lawbreakers. . .

But it does seem to me that if there is a statute forbidding the horn blowing, one should not be surprised when a ticket follows.
