Spokane is about 30 miles west of Coeur d'Alene Idaho - a place notorious for right wing militia groups & white supremacist groups. Seems like an obvious starting place for FBI investigations.

2. The local news in Portland mentioned Spokane as having a

large number of right wing militia and white supremacists. They also mentioned Idaho.
