1. There have been attempts to control photography and the media at some encampments
Its illegal and sullies our movement. Some people really do not want to hear that, even at GAs.

3. I expect it from the cops, which is when I get out my serious camera, I use a body camera as well
Something more than a pocket cam or cell phone seems to bring out the fascist in some people.

5. I see it all the time, it should be unacceptable from anybody
Already had someone get in my face about my camera today. When I stood up and got close to him, he backed off. I think he is new here.

7. There are any number of useful documents to carry for photography
There is the settlement that says it is legal to photograph Federal buildings that is also quite useful to have handy.

Peruse www.carlosmiller.com AKA Photography Is Not A Crime (PINAC) when you have some time. Lots of stories and links to good references and carry along material.
