TIME tries to explain away KY Gov. Beshear's win - says he steered clear of Obama

Democrats also captured five of six statewide races in conservative Kentucky, including the battle for the governor’s mansion, where Democratic incumbent Steve Beshear coasted to a second term. A moderate Democrat, Beshear — like Earl Ray Tomblin in West Virginia — charted a path to victory that included out-raising his opponent and steering clear of President Obama. In Arizona, Russell Pearce, the architect of the state’s controversial immigration law, became the first sitting senator to be recalled in the state’s history.

That's how much of the media explains away Democratic victories - by suggesting that those Democrats are moderates. In the Obama Era, they have also said that those candidates won by distancing themselves from Obama. Whatever Beshear and Tomblin really did to win this year, last year most of the Progressive Caucus - who supported Obama on healthcare reform, Dodd-Frank, and the like - were re-elected, while the Blue Dogs who deserted Obama saw their ranks decimated.

1. They just lie.
It's really sad when you think about it.

4. Mark Halperin's TIME Ragazine is PRO-Republican and PRO-fascism.
They're just saving face, hoping to frame the narrative and hoping to put President Obama in a bad light.

Fact remains, the American people have rejected so-called "Blue Dog" Democrats last year, because the American people, overwhelmingly, want Progressives to replace them.

The Democratic Party would be wise to continue educating the electorate why they should vote for progressive Democrats, i.e., it's in their BEST financial and social interests. Of course, that would mean the Democratic Party itself would have to support progressives, and that would mean they need to piss off their corporate masters, too.

We'll see how that plays out.

Point is, as long as the American people boot out pro-corporate Dems and Repubs, we put the fear of unemployment in those corporate slaves in DC.
