Anyone here from Occupy Philly? Still awaiting answer to my email asking for specific instructions
on dropping off donations as well as what supplies they need.

I have items to spare that are listed by other Occupy groups as needed, but would like to see a list from my closest Occupy, in Philly. Also, the info as to how to drop off donations shows the drop-off station at a spot where traffic does not stop, as far as I can see. I'd like to know how that works when one has a large amount of stuff to drop off.

It's frustrating that no-one is replying to the publicly listed contact email addresses.

3. "Ball Paints"
Whatever are these things, ball paints???

All I can think of are paint pens, for marking item.

5. Yes, I tried that before posting but it didn't really help much.
as you may have noticed.

Some brand names, some paint ball gun supplies, nothing that made sense for a OWS demonstration.

7. Thank you. Makes sense.
To mark belongings, label items, etc.

I have paint pens but never have seen these things.

8. Yes, I checked out that site and that list was not there. Glad to see it now.
I have loads of things they need and I can spare, but I certainly can't afford to mail them to the address provided.

2. Have you looked at their facebook page?
Here's a link to the map of the sight:
http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=126624634107079&set=a.120988664670676.13662.120049568097919&type=3&theater

You can get to the donations station easily from above ground or through the underground concourse from Penn Center across the street.

Also, a lot of food and people are gathering around 15th & Cherry, so you can get info and probably drop some food stuff there.

9. Yup, I checked out their FB page along with everything else they have on the web. I found that map
Edited on Wed Nov-09-11 12:49 AM by lib_wit_it
after first finding this tiny, not as useful copy: http://occupyphilly.org/faq/map/map-tent-city-5/

Notice that that map doesn't show the roads surrounding the site.

I also found this, which does:
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?vpsrc=6&ctz=240&ie=UTF8&t=h&source=embed&oe=UTF8&msa=0&msid=200989080471291928058.0004af0e4eb2afff73d1a

The problem is, I am not comfortable that I can stop my car anywhere close enough to the site (or 15th & Cherry--parking?) with time to unload. I haven't driven much in the city for years and I'm just nervous about it.

This is another site they have up that may be of interest to some:
