John Boehner Responds To OWS By Claiming That The 1% Are Overtaxed
Speaker of the House John Boehner was on ABC’s This Week, and when he was asked about Occupy Wall Street, he accused them of class warfare and claimed that the 1% are overtaxed.

Oh goodie. More nonsense from crybaby Bonehead. Seriously, what the hell is this man's job? Blaming President Barack Obama on every little thing he does is NOT a job occupation.

1. They are over taxed.
But the real problem is that the 99% are underpaid. That's why the 1% are over taxed.

4. Old time Republican like Eisenhower
would surely disagree but most modern day Republicans believe it is true. How any member of the 99% could believe it beyond me. just think how much better our country would be with tax rates from the 50s.

15. National approval rating - 9%
Edited on Sun Nov-06-11 04:33 PM by aint_no_life_nowhere
He is the leader of a Congress with a national 9% approval rating. He has presided over a law enacting Congress with a national 9% approval rating. His personal gridlock, failure to return Obama's phone calls, and failure to compromise with the Preident in good faith has led to a national 9% approval rating. He is the single biggest reason the approval rating of Congress is so low.

I will continue to refer to him as Mr. 9% Approval Rating. If you disagree and prefer to look only to his GOP base and not to the overwhelming disapproval he enjoys on a national basis, that is entirely YOUR thing.

(i ASSUME YOU ARE BEING SARCASTIC, HOWEVER :) )

8. They are NOT overtaxed. They would have left the country already.
But don't worry. We will force them out soon enough.

14. Actually, I'd love to retire in Europe.
Edited on Sun Nov-06-11 04:29 PM by karnac
Despite the cost of living. Where do you think the miscreants of the present Bust went? Europe.

However, they are investing in Asia and other developing nations. and NOT in Europe.

The really smart ones like Kyle Bass are already shorting(betting) the Europe will fail too.

9. Given that we have a huge debt, they can only claim they're undertaxed.
Additionally, we've been cutting every benefit for the American people for 40 years and we're worse off now than when we began these cuts! Meanwhile the rich have gottn richer. Overtaxed MY ASS!
