Patty Murray and Jeb Hensarling (Super Committee) are continuing
to meet and discuss, but the rest of the gang isn't participating which may indicate that no agreement will be reached.

This is according to what an MSNBC reporter just said - no link.

Hats off to Murray and Hensarling.

1. You want them to come to an agreement?

2. Probably not, from what I've heard the Dems are willing to
give up, but I'm impressed by Murray and what's-his-name still trying. Murray's my Senator and I know she sincerely cares about the people, so I assume her Republican counterpart in this is motivated for the same reasons.

3. the need for the committee was voided the moment they signed it into existence

Why even show up? It was a GOP trap to viciiously and blindly cut citizen benefits and government jobs--social programs will be hurt far more than the military when the mandatory cuts start. All according to plan.

4. I have never liked the idea of a
"super" committee being used by Congress to delegate the future of American lives.
