Kathy Bates new show last night.
During a trial debate with the prosecuting attorney she mentioned her client on trial for 3rd time drug possession is facing 5 years in prison.

While people like Rush Limbaugh can get away with it.

New show seems pretty good.

6. you could get killed jaywalking
unless there was a mattress nearby, even if it was not named Zem.

(note, this attempt at a joke would be funnier if you saw the show)

30. Misery ranks right up there with Psycho as one of the indelibly creepiest movies ever.
Loved the book too--but the movie was actually even better.

10. I liked it...
David Kelley does good stuff....he agrees w/ my politics. And I'm refreshed to see an older woman who isn't skinny as a lead in a TV series. And her associate seems fun and crazy. And I like shoes....but only those made in Italy, Brazil or Spain.

11. Darn. I missed it.
I saw the ads and thought it looked like something I might like (I love Kathy Bates). I'll have to set up to record future shows, otherwise I'll never get around to it. It takes me forever to catch on to good programming. I never even watched a single episode of West Wing (one of my all time favorites) until after the show was canceled. I've watched it all on DVD.

I really liked it, even more than expected. There are so few shows I find worth watching. I hope they keep this one going for a while.

Thanks again!

14. It was lame.
Another white person in the hood to save black & brown people from themselves.

(Make that 3 white people... one who is selling Prada in the middle of the ghetto.)

35. It was interesting that the only white "customer" walking through that door
was a woman buying $500+ shoes. And we are supposed to suspend belief that that white woman would drive to that neighborhood (vividly illustrated earlier in the show) with black men pissing on sides of building, scantily clad black female prostitutes, and black men openly dealing drugs.

15. Sounds Terrific
I love a good courtroom drama so this should be right up my street.

The jury's still out though on "The Whole Truth", another courtroom drama. Does anyone know if it's been cancelled? Sure, some of the stories were a little contrived but the structure of the show was interesting and showed promise.

23. It is a winner. She said Limbaugh is a drug addict
but he's not treated the same as a poor person (her character did not play the race card, rather the two-tiered legal system card that treats the rich differently from the poor). It was awesome!!

Edited on Tue Jan-18-11 09:40 PM by Urban Prairie
err...I mean night..heh!!

Hope that there is more damning dialog during future episodes to come regarding conservative crybabies (Boehner, Dreck) windbags (Limbaugh,Hannity,O'Really ) and sadistic shrews (Malkin, Palin, Bachmann Ghoulter) ect..
