Ann Coulter: ‘Our Blacks Are So Much Better Than Their Blacks’
Source: TPM

If you were waiting for Ann Coulter and Sean Hannity to weigh in on the Herman Cain sexual harassment allegations — and what they mean for racism, sexual harassment and America — you’re in luck.

SNIP...

“That’s why our blacks are so much better than their blacks,” Coulter said. “To become a black Republican you don’t just roll into it. You’re not going with the flow. You have fought against probably your family members, probably your neighbors, you have thought everything out and that’s why we have very impressive blacks in our party.”

1. Are you kidding me??????
This is just show business to Coulter. It is nothing
more than building or shoring up her brand. We should expect
anything different from her??? I think not.

4. She is ABSOLUTELY aware of this. And so is Rush and the rest of them.
They say things deliberately to rile their fans up and to unnerve us. That's how they make their money. Ann hasn't been relevant in a very long time. Every once in a while, she'll crawl out of her hole to make some kind of racist or asinine statement.

14. I totally agree with what you said...
The crazier they sound the more money they make form their gullible followers...The entire Republican Party has become one big merchandise dealer! Sarah Palin fleeced the gullible for millions & I think Herman Cain was running just to sell books as well! After all he has only 6 staffers for Iowa & NH combined!

18. It's the Southern Strategy that has been so successful for the Republican Party...
Sadly there are blacks and other minorities that have bought into this rhetoric themselves. Herman Cain is one of many examples!!

5. It's all shtick to keep the dumshits happy and piss off the Dems
Don't pay any attention to her, she just says shit like this for the shock value.

Anyway she used to date Jimmie JJ Dynomite Walker so I'm not sure the racism is all that real. Just part of the act.

Which probably makes her an even bigger piece of crap.

27. Exactly, It's clearly schtick. Doesn't make it any more pleasant to hear, but she's performing.

You can see the desperate need for attention, and book sales, lurking beneath each calculated outrage.

17. "Our blacks" = Blacks as chattel. Oh, the irony.
Gee, when in this country's history have African Americans ever been considered personal property of other people?

Nah, that would never happen.

And yet somehow it's liberals who want to keeps African Americans "on the plantation." Riiiiight.

22. The fact that she feels comfortable enough to utter such statements is alarming.
At first I thought handle this with ridicule no it is in not in any way even humorous. She knew exactly what she said that unsophisticated people would understand her message. I propose that the Republican Party change its name to the Ownership Party it would make Coulter, Limbaugh, Fox News if nothing else at least intellectually honest.

23. I still think Anne Coulter is a performance artist playing a "Drug-addled Nazi in the Modern World."

Some day she'll write a book about it and we'll all have a good laugh.

There's no other explanation for her behavior.

32. maybe it's closer to Howard Stern than Joaquim on Letterman
I think Coulter and Rush belong to the shock jock continuum, the business of saying horrible, racist stuff to boost ratings among "in your heart, you know he's right" meatheads and a stable contingent of listeners who hate your guts but get hooked on hating the hate-on. If it's art it's not comparable to Kaufman, or Colbert lampooning the cartoonish certainty of this sub-genre, but who am I to say puffy junk food isn't art, although its purpose seems more aligned with commerce, namely stretching a thin premise into a toxic Fluffernutter using the cheapest thickening agent.

24. so basically to be a Republican you have to
ignore all the good advice from friends, neighbors and family members and join a group of people that all think they are going to "win". Lead on by a few people who make $$ telling you, you will also win just like them. You're swimming against the flow, heading up river to the big win. When you get there you find out only a brief moment of win followed by death is what really awaits you. Wow that analogy really makes me want to join the Republican party.

some grimy repub stepped up to a microphone & commented on the demonstration going on in Broward county (I think Jessie Jackson was leading it)/.. the comment was (paraphrasing)..I don't know why all of those people are so upset...we treat our blacks real good"...

and he did say "real good"..not really well....evil thinking..evil acting..and really poor grammar to boot..
