The Washington Post stated that the cat had been abandoned

by protesters. My guess is that it's a street cat attracted by all the food left behind after the police riot broke up the encampment. I doubt anyone brought a cat tothe demonstration, and I really doubt any cat would hang around once all the commotion started!

1) Purring will help heal everything...

2) People will realize in the end that most cops are as confused in this movement as the military was in Iraq.
