| NBC Nightly News did a piece on photographing/videoing cops at work |
|
It should be up at their website in a few hours.
The story seemed sparked by the Oakland PD and NYPD's Tony Bologna and his pepper spray attack on 4 peaceful women.
They even included the woman arrested on her own front lawn for taking video of cops making an arrest of the occupant(s) of a car.
It's amazing the msm even noticed.

We've all heard that rationale.

| 3. I have been in this very situation. You have the right to take a photograph |
|
while standing on public property of someone or anything on private property. This is a right that goes back to the FBI photographing Mafia figures at funerals. I knew about this law when an idiot security guard detained me for taking a photo of a crowd in a fire drill on private corporate property. He said he would call the police. I said, "Go ahead." When he called he found out the truth. The police should be well aware of this law but use it against people who don't know the difference.

| 6. I thought cops loved being videotaped ... |
|
at least, when the perp makes false claims ...
don't they have a camera malfunction when some perp makes a true claim? "I'm sorry, the camera was broke ..."

It really lifts my spirits to know NBC actually covered some of the brutality.
