On OWS and "leaders."
Ok, ok, I can't tell you the names, but I can tell you these encampments have leaders. If you are familiar with group dynamics and how they work you too will be able to spot them. It's not hard. But why haven't we seen a FORMAL organizational chart? Some of these kids have read history. They understand what has happened to leaders in past social revolutions. In time they will have to become a tad more formal.

It is also the system of leaderless resistance they have chosen.

In fact, this makes the movement, and it is growing, far more dangerous to an entrenched power elite.

So when you ask where are the leaders...go to your local occupy...I promise you, if you know anything about group dynamics...you too will be able to tell.

As to objectives...go to the occupy site in NYC and read their statement, voted by the General Assembly. The goals are there.

1. They have no defined leaders because
everyone takes part in the decision making. That's the point of direct democracy.

Which this is, there is some direction to it.

It is direct democracy. Alas it is also leaderless resistance.

Not being critical, just pointing this our.
