on the "yocal" radio that the authorities in "Providencia" have spied with their glaring eyes a couple of convicted sex offenders walking around in Burnside Park.

So they intend to clear the area because of a couple of random perves.

It is absurd that a remarkably diverse assemblage of kindred spirits wouldn't far outnumber and watch each others' backs from that sort of sordid danger.
