Anybody on the West Coast just hear a big boom?

Could it be the German satellite just re-entered earth's atmosphere. Perfectly clear starry night, so I know it wasn't thunder. Just curious, here in the wee hours.

1. Sorry nope.

Did hear a loud bang outside my house though, not sure what it was, checked my cat to see if he had gotten into something but thank gog it wasn't that.

2. That's what I thought, too, that something had hit the house.

A very loud boom followed by a sort of, hard to describe, aftershock. My cat promptly came inside, but the noise was far too loud to have been caused by him. I was already awake, so not like the boom wakened me. Have been doing a search on the German satellite and it's due soon, so for now my money's on that. Be interesting to see where it ended up. I'm guessing Canada, but we'll see. Should stop obsessing on this, huh? It's the bump in the night thing--always unsettling!
