http://www.gallup.com/poll/149600/Slight-Majority-Blame... A bit of a misleading headline, in my opinion. Since 69% still blame George W Bush. Even 50% of Republicans still blame Bush a great deal or a moderate amount. I think this does not bode well for the Republicans in the national election for President, unless it changes by this time next year?

Sure, he didn't break the economy, but on the other hand he neither fixed it (which, frankly would have been impossible in such a short time) or, more importantly, given people confidence that he was on the right track by taking bold steps to set a recovery in motion. (No, I don't know what steps. I'm not smart enough to figure those things out. I just vote for people who I hope will be smart enough. So far, they haven't been.)
