Five years from TODAY, if Republicans win the House, Senate and White House......where will......
your family be?

How many teachers, firefighters, police out of work?

How many union non-public employees layed off?

How may Social Security, Unemployment, Disability, temporary welfare recipients, college students, college grads, high school grads, apartment renters, homeowners, NOW versus then?

Will you be living as you do now? Will your relatives in your family, sons, daughters, parents, grandparents, children, or cousins be as well off, (or having less or more problems) than they are today?

Corporations think about the next 3 months, stock markets think about the next week's reports. Families think about the long run, six months, a year, five, ten years. Where will YOU be if Democrats lose the House, Senate, White House in 2012, or lose the House again in 2014?

Have you and your family thought about any of this?

the gridlock to continue? You are disappointed in Obama, as I am, sure, but human frailty is NOT the confirmation of your most dreaded fantasy.

Sorry, I still believe in something called voting, evidently, you do NOT!

Defeatism, the ultimate justification of and retreat from cowardice.

Abortion will be outlawed, and perhaps even certain types of birth control.

3 things for starters.

8. Yeah, you're very creative, and probably very reasonable in your thoughts.
But I hope we get this same message out to 100,000,000 Americans who can legally vote in Nov, 2012!

You have an insight as to how to do this?

13. Well, I am no political strategist, but
one thing that has always bothered me about the commercials the Dems run, is that they are sort of wishy washy, filled with happy words and pretty images, that seem to be made to appeal to the mushy middle.

Since the teabagging republicans have a track history, i think a commercial with a spokesperson just talking straight into the camera saying something like I just posted above, in 50 words or less. No more, no less. "Repubs Will turn Medicare into a voucher system. Republicans Will outlaw unions. Republicans Will depress wages".

And a huge register to vote effort maybe at the OWS protests.

But, I seem to always seem get stuff wrong, so what do I know. :}

7. Probably in Refugee Status. Hopefully, somewhere nice and warm.
If things go all the way, I won't be the only American political exile.

9. So what are you doing to fight against this eventuality? Not just posting here?
But real action? Something? Anything?

12. You should research your targets before you start blasting away, Buckaroo Bonzai.
I've been a Democratic Party activist since I started knocking doors in 1964. My first political memory is shaking JFKs hand on my father's shoulder at a campaign rally in New Haven, CT in 1960. I spent the better part of last Saturday planting road signs for the local County Supervisor.

As for demonstrations, I've had been cracked in the ribs by the NYPD tactical squad in 1974, was tear gassed by the Massachusetts State Police at Seabrook in 1979, and organized ten bus loads of demonstrators to Reagan's Inauguration, and had the sad experience of freezing my nuts off and shouting myself horse as Dubya Occupied the White House.

What am I doing to fight? Real action? Well, I'd probably do more "real action", but I studied with Howard Zinn for three years, and as a result still believe in non-violent disobedience.

What the Hell more do you want from me, Buckaroo?

I'd rather die on American soil if it is a choice I have to make.
