A Fair Tax on Millionaires
I get a lot of things from Amazon including my Kindles and ebooks, clothing. Really pisses me off that Bezos helped defeat this along with Microsoft CEO Ballmer. No more windows, Apple now but don't know what to do about Amazon.

During last November’s midterms, Washington State voters considered a ballot initiative that would have created two new brackets, one affecting households with incomes over $400,000 and the other for those making more than $1 million. It was defeated by a wide margin after business leaders such as Amazon.com founder Jeff Bezos and Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer contributed to a $6.3 million campaign against it.

1. Yep - Bill Gates, Sr. was the one who tried to get it going, and
other old money Seattle people supported it. But Bezos, Ballmer and I think Howard Schultz jumped on the bandwagon using the fear tactic of jobs having to be cut, etc., etc.

How would a person's PERSONAL income have anything to do with creating jobs for the company? Unbelievable.

I think Bill Gates (the kid) supported his dad in this effort, too.
