2. Here is a more detailed description:

We need volunteers to attend this training so we are prepared with a bank of legal observers who can take different shifts.

Legal observers act as witnesses and document any unfavorable interactions with law enforcement.

You needn't have a law background to participate. However, during the shift that you are acting as a legal observer, you may not actively participate in protesting. You must remain a neutral observer until your observation shift is over.
