Unbelievable comment on Palin's FB page - a look into the mind of one of her fans
Just seen this comment on Palin's FB front page wall:

Madeline Milliron-Davis: ok so here is a suggestion for you...why don't we use prisoners instead of animals for research. Use people who have life sentences and given death row convictions. This will save millions on not only the cost of insurance research, but save the lives of chimps and other animals. We can't find vaccine for Hepatitis be...cause chimps have a different immune system. This will also save tax payers money when they finally die from all the research. These people are confined and most are in solitary so why not use them..

What the hell is America turning into!
I am disgusted by the thoughts of many of Palin's followers, but this one really takes the cake!

4. It's just like frat party initiation... by Dr. Josef Mengele
sometimes I am ashamed of my American heritage... comments like these will be documented for eternity.

History will not forget what the Palin stooges have stated -- the internet record is forever, well at least until we exterminate ourselves.

5. I saw a comment...
that pretty much said that it's not so bad that Christina Taylor-Green was killed as she would only grow up to become a liberal, and if you had the chance to shoot Hitler, wouldn't you? Palin's fans are as evil as she is.

25. Turns out that the person who made that comment meant it as deep satire or sarcasm,
Edited on Sat Jan-15-11 06:57 PM by kath
(as a very few here suspected) and she later apologized that she was misinterpreted. As we well know - a) the far right is so batshit crazy, that it's VERY difficult to satirize them - the ol' "you can't make this shit up" thing
b) a related effect is that it's harder and harder these days to tell a story from The Onion apart from a real "news" story or opinion piece.

Yes, she really should have used a sarcasm emoticon, because I've seen comments on other far-right boards this week that were even more hateful, and were NOT sarcastic.

37. How is that satire?
I've noticed far right-wingers don't often understand what satire means, and only use the word to excuse comments they make that are over the line and catch attention.

Unless she was mocking Palin Conservatives, I don't see how that comment could be called satirical.

7. It's an empty wish as big pharma would never go for it.
Research companies would never get away with treating even the worst prisoner the way many chimps and other animals are treated.

Not that I'm advocating for the merit of the idea, I just have to get my shots in at vivisection where and when I can.

12. We do have human guinea pigs. They are mostly poor
people who get money or medication in return. I let Glaxo experiment on me at one time because I have asthma and at that time I couldn't afford my inhalers and medication. Not only did they pay me but they gave me my inhalers and medication for free. However, forcing incarcerated prisoners to do this would be kind of Dr. Mengele, wouldn't it? It amazes that these Freepers come up with solutions that Hitler would be proud of but yet when you point out where their thinking processes are leading to, they scream foul. They aren't fascists! The problem is that you are a communist!

Since Madeline has no objection to humans being used for research, perhaps all of Palin's followers could line up to be Guinea Pigs.

THAT's a group with no socially redeeming values as far as I can tell.

28. Another shining example of her fan base:
"The constition and welfare are not the same. The constition is rules to limit church powers. The church power is walfare...If you want walfare join a church..we should not be paying for values...That is a church thing...Not in the constituti...on..That is why the stressed out kid killed all those poeple...He didn't know how to communicate his stress. He tried getting into the millitary for a better life..But his community was ok with drugs.. so he used them..they screwed thim over. He hated the world..for being liers, fakers and making him suffer... That is all he knew. So, he was nothing..so nothing to loose..know he is something.. He couldn't kill his teachers that confused him...that was already done. alot. of poeple learned and adpated to it..So he thought of another way.. This way was way better..He would be a fighter of human rights..the right not to suffer for others ideals..you should start think... what is the next kid going to do?..school shooting old news, politition killing old news. next ? stop blaming political parties because you have no family values (Church/welfare/ community) ...

don't regulate guns..that is a trade off. you trade crazies from getting guns to victoms ..because His dad wasn't crazy he could just get a gun from his dad..saying he's going to a range..(not) then his plan is in place..Regulating guns does nothing.. guns are a right to have.
The constitution has nother to do with regulation..that is a community thing(church/walfare).
I all ready pay my church 10% tax, feds 25%,state 5%, borough 4%, city 5%, Fees for what ever services...and they want to go up another 30% thanks...is this because of the constitution(rights that limit church) or a (church/community/walfare) value."

Batshit

29. She's not even orignal.
U.S. Apologizes for Syphilis Tests in Guatemala.

From 1946 to 1948, American public health doctors deliberately infected nearly 700 Guatemalans — prison inmates, mental patients and soldiers — with venereal diseases in what was meant as an effort to test the effectiveness of penicillin.

American tax dollars, through the National Institutes of Health, even paid for syphilis-infected prostitutes to sleep with prisoners, since Guatemalan prisons allowed such visits. When the prostitutes did not succeed in infecting the men, some prisoners had the bacteria poured onto scrapes made on their penises, faces or arms, and in some cases it was injected by spinal puncture.

If the subjects contracted the disease, they were given antibiotics.

“However, whether everyone was then cured is not clear,” said Susan M. Reverby, the professor at Wellesley College who brought the experiments to light in a research paper that prompted American health officials to investigate.
