Is Anybody Else Here Completely Offended By Eric Cantor's Out And Out Refusal To......
take up the President's Job Bill?

I'm surprised that the media isn't making a bigger deal about this. The President is out pushing the plan and Cantor has said that the House won't even bring it to the floor.

Seems to me a perfect opportunity to show the American People who is really twarting job growth in this country and causing the economy to tank.

Where are the Dems? Why aren't any of the Dem Senators and Congress Critters out there supporting the President on this Jobs Bill? Even if they know it won't pass - this gives them a perfect opportunity to expose the Repugs.

2. The problem is, Cantor doesn't care about the American people. Not sure
why this guy and others like him continue to be reelected, but they are.

3. Perhaps they're letting him hang himself. He seems to be good at that.
They want the economy to fail to get Obama out of office, but I keep hoping it will backfire and they will be voted out so we can get something done.

4. The GOP controls the congress, they bring bills to the floor.
The GOP made hash of Obama not putting forward a plan when they had no intention of ever taking one up. He called their bluff, as they probably expected, & issued a milquetoast plan that is too little too late. now each party has its script for 2012's campaign.

The economy is fucked, and neither party can fix it. One party, however, bears a lion's share of the blame.

5. I believe Eric Cantor is a traitor to this country
and anyone who follows him

When you put your agenda above the people then you are a traitor
If his agenda is correct then he needs to put that out there and let everyone see it

31. Wow.....
not that's amazingly awful. No one cares....neither party. WTF?

I guess it's all just Kabuki Theater. The Dems won't go against Wall Street....the hand that feeds their re-election campaigns.

I'm sick.

11. I really don't get it
I was reading polls on Polling Report yesterday, and the majority of Americans support the job bill, think that we need to spend more government money on creating jobs, and that we need to tax the wealthy. The only explanation for how the pukes can pull this off is that Democrats don't vote -- a combination of disenfranchisement, stupidity and laziness. The numbers are on the side of Obama -- but he, too, is too toothless to go after them.

12. Where are the Dems? That's the real question. Dems have muddied the waters in the Senate so we can't
even just blame the Republicans.

This SHOWS how the real problem is Congress. This truly is one of (or THE) worst Congress ever.

their CORPORATE OWNERS. I think BOTH parties are complicit in what's going on We didn't get here because the Democrats fought the Rethugs. We got here because they didn't.

30. And the House is saying "Don't be silly. The Senate has to pass their bill first."
The reality is NEITHER party in Congress supports our president on this. It is a sad commentary and refusing to acknowledge it only perpetuates the problem.

18. The media is too busy...
trying to find someone to beat Obama, they are frantic. The media is too busy trying to tell us why he won't,can't or doesn't win the next election 24/7. The Dems now want to jump on the bandwagon when they didn't do a damn thing to help him fight against the republiCONS when he first took office.

The Dems spent all of their times on things that didn't/don't affect the majority of the American people, those things were an emergency to some but not most. The media is/was too busy trying to busy looking at skin color and judged everything he did/does by that. The media was too busy trying to protect a cop who was wrong for arresting a man in his own house, and the cop acted STUPIDLY.

The media kept harping on his birth certificate, his choice of a dog,his relatives, where he went on vacation, telling him what to say,how to say it,where he said it. The media kept wanting him to make another speech so they could go tv and critique it. The media throws out bullshit about what the President should do then if he does it they spend weeks and months criticizing it. Some in the media are still angry that he won over Hillary.

The media still can't get over that he is Black especially Chris Matthews who now seems to be coming to terms with it on some levels but looks at everything he does as though blacks do everything differently then everyone else. Blacks have been here for centuries and have raised whites and know more about some of them than they do themselves but they can't see it...
