3. Because he just wants to stir things up. Like Cheney. And get his name in the news.
None of this contributes to the health of the country or our economy. There are lots of things he could do to try to make this a better country. Instead, he just says the same ol' things that Cheney and other intigators say. Hoping to get his name mentioned on national TV, and create disharmony & cause trouble.

He's a has-been.

4. From what he said it's just for show
The candidates don't need to raise a lot of money in order to have debates in early primary states. The idea is doesn't sound too bad, really. I can see the value in a non threatening primary designed to stimulate debate.

16. I think that he simply lives in a world
entirely of his own. It's like he only sees things through a very thick glass, and has no real understanding at all of how real people actually live. He behaves like someone as insulated from everything as the Queen of England must be.

And, you know Nader sure as hell won't be forking over any of his own cash for such a futile effort.

22. Better question: In what country is a man castigated for over a decade for exercising a
right guaranteed him in said country's Constitution?

Even better question: In what country is a man blamed for the execution of another based on his decision to exercise a right guaranteed him by said country's Constitution?

27. Nothing more than a dodge. My request was that you name a politician who HASN'T LIED.
Significant, schmignificant.

The man exercised his CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT.

Furthermore, Al Gore snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Had he been less interested in stupid shit like earth-tone clothing and facial hair, had he been able to speak in anything other than monotone, had he been able to dispel the notion that HE TOO was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he would have won the fucking election GOING AWAY and it would have been IMPOSSIBLE for W to steal it.

Ralph Nader didn't give us W, Al Gore did.

LoZo, you're entertaining to say the least.

I'll say this as an end to our most meaningful and substantive exchange this evening though: NO PERSON should ever be questioned for exercising their CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS, and I challenge you to justify doing so.

34. America, where any armchair idiot can give his/her worthless
nickle to rabble-rouse for the most pathetic/sad reasons. Most are Bush Democrats that hate Nadar because they make him look like the smartest man on the planet. It is all personal jealousy, they haven't done shit in life but crybaby, while Nadar has done more good then their entire family for generations and probably their far future spawn as well. It is so easy for an idiot with a keyboard to rail against someone famous that they hate out of petty jealousy. Maybe Nadar fucked their mom and they just can't get over it.

Whatever reason, they are pathetic and very very few. Not like the majority at all. Fringe loonie idiots in line with Palin and MB.

Then there are the people that REALLY hate him!

Dear OP, this is how I feel about those on this site who lift their skirts and scream everytime Nader comes around.

Reminds me of this funky little chick I once met. She lived in Marin and went to school with China Slick. She hated China Slick. And every conversation came back to how much she hated China Slick. She would blow up a balloon and say, 'Look, China Slick' and laugh as if that were somehow funny. We began to avoid her very quickly because something was....wrong.

This 'Nader is a poopy pants' stuff is revealing a mentality I am repulsed by. Grow up, You all seem to need someone to hate, and that's not a healthy thing

Nader didn't steal that mockery of an election and if you could view anything besides throuh a crooked lens you could see that. I'd say 'lurk moar' but you've been here forever and haven't learned a thing.
