Ronald Reagan's legacy of "The government is the problem.",
that is, the government is the enemy, come to fruition. The fruit being hatred and division and fear of each other, and corporate control of the problem (government). Corporate-state propaganda loosed on the US public.

We know what makes authoritarian followers tick and know what percentage of the population they number, they have been well studied. Why a government would allow, if not participate in, pushing of their buttons when they know what will happen is the question.

Radical Muslim attacks were expected when the US put troops onto sacred Muslim soil and supported repressive dictators. And look where those attacks led us.

Radical authoritarian attacks in the US were expected when media rhetoric is ramped-up by authoritarian leaders enough to scare them into believing that the enemy is now coming after them.

What further rights are we ready to give up now to fear?

What additional rights awarded to corporations? Are they not the victors when people battle each other to their profit?

1. What Reagan did to the Government is a big problem
Shifting the income tax laws to favor the rich, putting defense contractors in the driver's seat in matters of defense spending, and union busting are but a few.

Reagan's making the Fairness Doctrine impotent has given rise to an outrageous right wing echo chamber that is stifling debate in political issues.
