Notorious Dutch MP (Geert Wilders) wants to bring anti-Islam message here (Australia)
A DUTCH MP who compares the Koran to Hitler's Mein Kampf wants to visit Australia with the support of Liberal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberal_Party_of_Australia">center-right) senator Cory Bernardi. He has previously linked Islam to fascism and called for an end to non-Western immigration. ... A visit would cause a storm of controversy, as Labor has already attacked Mr Wilders and Senator Bernardi.

Mr Wilders told Foreign Correspondent that Senator Bernardi - who he said was "fighting against" Islamic immigration - had invited him to "help" when he visited Australia.

Senator Bernardi said he backed non-discriminatory immigration, but told the Herald Sun he was concerned about Islamic fundamentalism. He said a meeting with Mr Wilders to discuss multiculturalism failures was "fascinating".

Victorian Labor MP Rob Mitchell said it was disgraceful that a Liberal would support a visit by Mr Wilders. "Australia is no place for a freak show; Geert can take his views back to the gutter he got them from," Mr Mitchell said.

Conservatives in Australia must be pretty desperate if they feel the need to import European right-wingers to gin up anti-Muslim fears to scare voters into voting for them.
