13. You don't remember Obama (or anyone from his administration)
saying it either. It never happened. I guess if you tell a lie often enough....

17. Did Obama say that? Did Rahm Emanuel call an IDEA retarded, or did he call actual people retarded?
Go back and examine the record before you spread BS.

5. Don't you have to die before you can be beatified?
Obama is still with us last I checked.

His performance in office does not surprise me and matches predictions I made prior his election. The expectations were way too high back then and now there are those slamming him for not accomplishing the unachievable.

Regardless he does not qualify for sainthood let alone godhood

6. Ummmmmm .....Damn.
I usually agree and enjoy your posts Kentuck.....but this one....not so much.LOL!
If anything Obama is much more like Judas not Jesus. I mean even Jesus had his conflicts that he didn't back down from.

Its quite obvious you can be pacifist without constant surrender. Gandhi did it and changed the world without giving and inch to the establishment.

Martyr Hardly! Sellout most definitely.

there are still some that think he walks on water and there are some that are ready to "politically" crucify him.

I'm not sure what Jesus would think of Barack Obama? :-)

7. So.................?
Barack Obama is worthy of being compared to Jesus Christ?

Even I will give Obama credit for not being so arrogant and insensitive to make that comparison.

8. Obama will have enormous wealth when he leaves the White House, whether 2012 or 2016.
He will get payback in the form of multiple, top paying consulting gigs and Board memberships from the corporations he has catered to, book deals, lecture fees, endowed Chair at Univ. of Chicago and/or Harvard Law, etc.

Disgusting, isn't it?

18. You can repeat this over and over, I've seen it here several times.
And yet, I think the man is not, and has never been, in public service for personal profit.

28. No. We could argue how much he's "servicing them", but I don't believe
it's for personal profit. If he is going easy on them, it's for re-election/Citizens United purposes.

30. I am not interested in how much money he makes after his time in the WH.
I don't care how much Bill Clinton makes, either. As far as I'm concerned, people who bring this up are only looking to attack the man, personally--for something he hasn't even done yet.

Obama's biggest problem is Barack Obama and nothing else. His loss in 2012 will be his own damn fault.

26. ENOUGH hyperbole! Crucifixion? Martyrdom? Are you serious?
My goodness.

He's being "crucified"? Really?

He's being "martyred" REALLY?

Last I heard, crucifixion and martyrdom resulted in death. Now, you can say you were going for the completely watered down contexts of those words, but you put them out there... words whose context is usually death.

And, last I heard, inheritence is not something actively sought out.

Fuckin' A. Crucifixion and martyrdom. And we're supposed to be the ones wanting angry speech toned down... right?

31. OH MY GOD.
Now he's supposed to be the Christ of the new millenium?

:puke:

Jesus didn't throw the poor, the marginalized, the disenfranchised, the powerless, the minority, or the non-powerful under the bus in an attempt to buddy up to tptb.

The only people he confronted with anger were the corrupt in the temple.

He didn't join them in their corruption in an attempt to "compromise" with them.
