with East Asia! We have always been at war with East Asia.
We are, and always have been, expertly manipulated by those who understand what the oneupmanship of the mind is, from politics to philosophy to religion. You have been acculturated from day one by you parents, relatives, teachers, etc. It is a ladder of progression whereby you, an adaptable, social creature, are both assured that you have freewill and are also convinced that what you have been taught and told is absolutely true and factual.
If you don't understand oneupmanship, think about it for a bit. You are cold, so your brain gives you the capacity to think about ways to get warmer and you pull leaves over your body while others freeze and shiver. You send your children to a highly accredited college because you can afford it so that they can one-up the kids who can't. There is no altruism in paying homage to a device, (the human biocomputer) that allows one member of a species to quickly overcome and outdo its others, especially when they don't have a clue as to what has happened and are wondering about fairness and spiritual matters while they are being beaten down, enslaved and outdone by those who are becoming expert and adept at one-upping everyone else while manipulating them to think that is not the case and it is god, or whatever, that has made it so.
If you ever managed to break away from that total and controlling fiction you did not do so well. Either you repressed your insights into the fallacy of control that was impinged upon you or you were ostracized or thought to be strange, even crazy, by those who had bought into and embraced the illusory system that was being programmed into their programmable minds that they had not learned to take control of and program for themselves.
It is not so lonely an endeavor to stop and question reality and life from the very ground up. The way things are going today, you may have no other choice but to do this if it is going to be about your sanity or survival in the long-run. We are not in ordinary times and our biocomputer/organism is about what it can do with what it has now in order to survive what society imposes upon it.
