D.C. Runs Out Of Sandbags
D.C. government distributes more sandbags as Hurricane Irene approaches

UPDATE (4:00 p.m.): Sandbags have run out and workers are turning people away from the lines. Anyone in line as of 3 p.m. should be able to get a bag, according to the D.C. Department of Public Works
