Hurricane Bingo!
Okay, before I get flamed for being insensitive, I am a veteran of Gulf Coast storms. I know what y'all are going through, and sometimes you do need a little bit of humor to get through it all :)

This bingo-card is a little bit-o-fun for use with your local over-sensationalized news stations. Also, ignore the Houston-centric references (like for Dr. Neil Frank, and the Kemah Boardwalk) and use your own local references. It might be too late for some of the squares (boarding up windows and such) but maybe those of you further up north can use it :D

It's a PDF-link, by the way.

5. Yes, it is!
This is the kind of thing that SNL should make fun of, with the idea of a station just recoding a few clips one year and then editing and recycling them for the next storm. Because they are all almost exactly the same, no matter where you go!

3. I checked it out
but as exciting as it could be, I found my mind wandering. The person doing that isn't very good at describing things and seems a bit confused on how to operate his equipment, much less why his camera isn't as sensitive as his own eyes.

So, I reminded myself of what those suffering the winds of Irene are likely hearing about now:

4. His older video is way crazier:

I think "nighttime" is causing him issues, and also the fact that the hurricane hasn't hit yet.

I am sure he'll do some crazy coverage tomorrow. He needs to sleep though, been awake some 48 hours.

6. That video made me as nervous as the one I posted
because I was fearing for his safety!

While it's a good example of what those winds are like, just one substantial piece of debris and they would have had a snuff film on their hands.
